Word of Encouragement: The Lord God Will Clear All Confusion as You Sit at His Feet

Be still and know that I am God. Psalm 46:10

You don’t have to strive or continually try and figure out things that you have no solution to. In your stillness and quiet rest is when you will hear God the clearest.

God knows that you don’t know what direction to take in so many matters in your life. He sees that you are perplexed and deeply troubled concerning the relationships in your life.

God is not a hard taskmaster. He leads with a whisper, which you cannot hear if you are surrounding yourself with noise. So much has come your way, and you are not sure if you are making the right decisions.

The Lord your God will clear all confusion as you sit at His feet.

Sit and stay awhile, for in His presence you will be released of the burdens that have weighed so heavily on your soul. God’s burdens are light. What He leads you to do won’t feel hurried, pushed, or rushed. He won’t make you feel bad for whatever you choose to do. Of course, God disciplines those that He loves, but always for our good and in gentle love.

God never forces anything upon us, not even salvation, for that is a free choice that we must make. When you feel pushed or pressured into any decision, rest assured the enemy is behind it.

Check the source behind any decision that you must make, coming from other people or yourself.

Ask yourself these questions:

1.    Am I led by peace, or do I feel uneasy, and you don’t know why?

2.    Do you feel pressured?

3.    Are you feeling guilty or bad about yourself?

If you answered yes to any of the above questions, rest assured you are not being led by the Holy Spirit.

God leads by peace.

Check your heart. Do you want to help or be in a relationship with someone, but your “gut” is telling you otherwise? Your heart does not desire to hurt anyone, but to go against your gut (inner knowing/discernment) would not be wise.

We don’t fight against flesh and blood, so we are not fighting people. Pray for whoever you are having trouble forming a relationship with. Allow God to bring those relationships back into your life after God deals with them. Don’t be upset if certain people are not in your life, perhaps God is protecting you!

We must be careful in the last hour that we live in. Just because someone says that they are a Christian or go to church, does not mean they are truly born again by the Spirit of God. Some people are sent as agents of darkness into our lives to get us to compromise and eventually sin.

We must love all, respect all, be honorable to all, pray for all, and forgive all, but not let all people in the most intimate chambers of our hearts. All access to your life should be given only to those who have proven that they are trustworthy, and more importantly, their actions line up with the Word of God.

Be still and quiet before the Lord and allow Him the time to begin sorting out the confusion that has engulfed certain people in your life. Pray continually for those that you have a difficult relationship with and ask the Lord to purify these relationships, so they reflect His kingdom.
