Let’s face it difficult days happen. There are times when life can bring challenges that disrupt our daily routines. We should be wise and listen to what our bodies say to us during these times.
It can be tempting to want to quit life when the stressors of life pull at you. Instead of pulling the covers over your head and calling it a day, try instead to get up and do what you can do. No, you won't do things perfectly during difficult days, but you can still do something.
Try modifying your schedule. Sleep in a little later. Go to bed earlier. Take breaks. Slow down. Breathe. Say, “No”. Reduce your work and chore load. Prioritize your most important tasks. Spend more time with God. Get off social media. Put your phone away at times.
Don’t give up on those difficult days. Get up and do what you can. Be kind to yourself when you are having a challenging time. Don’t beat yourself up because you are not able to keep your usual pace. Do what you can and recognize that you will get back to your normal pace at some point.
