Word of Encouragement: It's Time to Let Go of Those Anxieties

What if you let go of all of your anxieties? ALL OF THEM. I know you believe that you can’t let go because that would mean that you don’t care, and somehow your worrying will help to eventually solve the unsolvable problems in your life.

Sometimes you pray for situations that don’t seem to get resolved, whether in your life or those you love. Prayers that seem to go unanswered increase the anxieties within you, and your need to control outcomes even more.

Just imagine how it would be if you let go of ALL your anxieties. How would you feel? What if you let go of the outcomes of the things that cause you great concern and surrendered all the what if’s to God?

God is not asking you to forget about your concerning situations, but when your troublesome circumstances become burdensome, it's time to let go and let God. As trite as that may seem to just “let go and let God,” it's not! Letting go and letting God implies that you are giving up control, and surrendering the fact that you are not able to fix what is bothering you to the point of causing you much grief.

Instead of filling your mind with anxieties and worries increase your mind with those things that build your faith. Decrease from your life those things that cause anxiety and worry.

You have been suffering not necessarily physically but emotionally. God sees you and wants to help you in your time of great distress.

The restlessness inside of you is not your own but instigated by an evil and deceptive spirit. God brings peace, order, and stillness. The enemy sends restlessness, hurriedness, pressure, and compulsion. There is no rest, peace, or stillness when the enemy is at work.

Sure some medications and vitamins can help with anxiety, but to have true and lasting peace takes immersing yourself in the truth in God’s Word. This means meditating or rolling over in your mind multiple times a day the truth about what God says about anxiety, worry, and burdens.

Let go and let God

Your flesh will not want to apply spiritual truth. You will need to make a choice to believe that the Word of God is ‘medicine” for your sick soul, and you need to ingest this ‘medicine” as often as possible.

I recommend saying and meditating on these truths below 3x a day until there is relief and continuing to do daily maintenance after. This strategy works to alleviate anxiety and any situation that you want victory in.

Cast all your anxieties on Him because He cares for you. 1Peter 5:7

Cast all your cares on the Lord and He will sustain you; he will never let the righteous be shaken. Psalm 55:22

Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God, and the peace of God, which transcends all understanding will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7

Therefore do not be worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has trouble of its own. Matthew 6:34

I sought the Lord and He heard me; He delivered me from all my fears. Psalm 34:4
